Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko ,in an undated video,has revealed he has relationships with other women outside his marriage.
The video shared by activist Boniface Mwangi and the crowd could be heard cheering him on,shows the Nairobi Governor disclosing that he has a mistress who he says comes from the Kikuyu community.

He further adds that he does not have any hate towards Kikuyus as they make a huge chunk of his inner circle.
“People say Sonko hates Kikuyu, it’s untrue. I have nominated over 10 Kikuyu MCAs, my wife is a Kikuyu, all my side dishes and inlaws are Kikuyu.
“Even the incoming deputy governor (who is a female) is a Kikuyu. Do you think I hate Kikuyus?” he asked.
Last month, Sonko stated that some politicians from Mt Kenya were holding meetings to shortchange DP William Ruto in the 2022 election.

This did not go down well with leaders from the region who claimed he was falsely accusing them.
To silence the critics, in the video, Sonko added that his cabinet has four Kikuyus while the chief of staff and the county secretary are also from the region.
The governor added that it was time to forgive one another and shun tribal politics as the country needed to move forward in the spirit of the handshake.
