Supreme Court Judge Isaac Lenaola has finally responded to allegations that linked him and Judge Philomena Mwilu to gross judicial misconducts.
In a letter, through his lawyer Donald Kipkorir, Justice Lenaola has threatened to sue State House Operative/Digital Director Dennis Itumbi if he does not delete all the defamatory tweets and apologise to him in the next three days, failure to which he shall file a case against him.

In the letter,Justice Lenaola says he will file a law suit seeking award of punitive damages and spend the compensation until he retires at the age of 70.
Other than Mr Itumbi, Lenaola has also written to the Standard Media Group demanding immediate apology over a story the newspaper published on September 19 on a petition filed by Derrick Malika Ngumu to the JSC alleging that he had clandestine meetings with NASA lawyers during the hearing of Raila Odinga’s Presidential petition at the Supreme court.
Lenaola said the paper unlawfully published the story before the petition was filed at the JSC(Judicial Service Commission).

He has also written to the organization the petitioner (Derrick) works for seeking details of its registration among other information.
Lenaola, who was among the four judges who annulled President Kenyatta’s win of August 8th, also wants Safaricom enjoined in the JSC petition to confirm whether the mobile service provider indeed provided call-logs to Mr Ngumu, or whether any other unauthorized third parties accessed information in his mobile phone.
