President Uhuru Kenyatta has for the first time weighed in,albeit indirectly, on the controversial nomination of Canadian-based lawyer and his political nemesis Miguna Miguna as Nairobi Deputy Governor.
The President said that he was willing to work with every single Kenyan and that he would not be intimidated by anyone.

His words were a direct response to Governor Sonko’s request for him not to be intimidated by Miguna’s nomination as it had come on the heels of harassment by certain officials in the national government.
”Governor Sonko has said that I should not be intimidated by anyone about Miguna. I want to tell Governor Sonko that I will not be cowed by anyone.”He said.
Let this be clear that I am not going to be intimidated by anyone. My interest is working with you governor Sonko to improve the lives of Kenyans,” a visibly peeved Uhuru added.
Uhuru’s words are seen by a section of pundits as an endorsement of Sonko’s controversial nomination in the face of unease in Jubilee while others view it as an attack on Miguna’s theatrics.
Mr Kenyatta spoke Wednesday during the exercise of issuing title deeds to Embakasi East residents at Jacaranda grounds.
