The meeting was also attended by Siaya Senator James Orengo, former Machakos Senator Johnstone Muthama, and Suna East MP Junet Mohammed.
Sources privy to The Standard had indicated that the talks centred around issues to do with swearing-in, wrangles over parliamentary seats, and the push for dialogue with President Uhuru Kenyatta.
According to insiders, one of the things NASA leader Raila Odinga agreed with his deputy, Kalonzo Musyoka, that their was the need to have structured talks with the Jubilee leadership over electoral justice before the planned inauguration.

Speaking exclusively to The Standard,Muthama explained that there were heightened calls for talks from foreign envoys and religious leaders and confirmed that the NASA leadership had decided to give them time and see how it goes.
“We have decided to listen to those calling for talks. At the same time we are going on with our plans. That is why there is a flurry of meetings,” Muthama said.
The Opposition leaders, however, resolved to push on with the planned swearing-in as they await for any show of goodwill for dialogue from The Head of State.
