Citizen TV and Nation TV on Tuesday morning went off air while offering a live coverage of NASA leader Raila Odinga’s swearing in ceremony.
According to KTN News,they have been shutdown by Kenya Communications Authority officials in Limuru.
This comes a day after government threatened to revoke all licenses of media houses who would be broadcasting Raila Odinga’s event at Uhuru park.
In a media press release yesterday, NTV Managing Editor claimed that media houses were threatened with being shut down if they went ahead to cover the event.
