Chaos Erupt as Lucky-Summer Residents Disrupt Suspected Mungiki Meeting [PHOTOS]

Two people have been reported injured on Sunday after residents of Lucky Summer area in Nairobi tried to engage the police in running battles.

The residents were protesting the presence of suspected Mungiki sect members who held an exclusive meeting in the area since early morning.

Police were prompted to intervene to quell the chaos, and in the process two residents were shot.
A showdown is currently looming in the city as NASA supporters plan to continue with protests,starting this Tuesday,in a bid to eject electoral commissioners said to have bungled the August 8th elections.
