Emerging reports indicate that Youth PS Lillian Omollo fainted on Tuesday night and was rushed to the Nairobi Hospital for immediate treatment.
Lillian Omollo,and other women suspects in the NYS scandal, had been remanded at the Langata Women’s Prison as they wait for the court’s ruling on whether they will be released on bail or not on June 6.

This was the court’s ruling on Tuesday night for all the 33 suspects despite defense lawyers arguing that their clients did not pose any risk to witnesses in the ongoing NYS corruption case.
The male suspects who include National Youth Service (NYS) boss Richard Ndubai are languishing at the Industrial Area Police Station.
Before they were taken to remand, the court session had lasted more than 12 hours as the lawyers made their submissions.

The magistrate adjourned the hearing at 1am and that is when Mrs Omollo and other suspects were taken back to jail.
