BREAKING: Matiang’i, Boinnet Sentenced By High Court in Miguna case

High Court judge George Odunga has finally issued a sentence to Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinnet and Immigration Principal Secretary Gordon Kihalangwa in case involving Politician Miguna Miguna.

In his sentence,Justice Odunga fined the 3 senior state officials Ksh.200,000 for contempt of court.

He ruled that the amount should be deducted from next month’s salaries of the three.

Contempt of court attracts a penalty of six months in prison or a fine of Ksh.200,000, but the judge opted for the later.
