Emerging reports indicate that renown NTV Swahili anchor Nimrod Taabu has resigned from the Nation Media Group TV station.
Source privy to the matter intimate the Swahili news anchor could be joining Citizen TV as a replacement for Kanze Dena who was appointed as Statehouse deputy spokesperson by President Uhuru Kenyatta.

The veteran news anchor is among the big names who have left Nation Media Group in the recent past.
Among those who have called it quits at NMG in the past three months are Managing Editor Linus Kaikai ,presenter Larry Madowo,swahili news anchor news anchor Jamila Mohamed and Vistoria Rubadiri.
Ms Jamila was appointed as the Managing Editor on the Swahili desk and Pamela Asigi the Managing Editor, English desk at Citizen TV.
News anchor Victoria Rubadiri also left for the Royal Media Station, replacing Lillian Muli who is on maternity leave.
KTN has also had its own share of woes,which saw Managing Editor Joe Ageyo leaving the Standard Media Group for an Editorial Director position at Royal Media Station (RMS).
