Telecommunication Companies are likely to battle each other out for customers in the coming days following calls by NASA leaders to its supporters to boycott all services offered by Safaricom.
The second most popular telecommunication company,Airtel,took advantage of the situation by welcoming newly joining subscribers by offering them cheap calls costing only 2 bob across networks and free 50MB.

Airtel also informed users on how to shift to its network with ease without necessarily changing their Safaricom numbers.
They assured users that they need not change their numbers but could simply move networks by visiting their shops using their National Identification cards and Passports.
Kenyans online questioned the timeliness of Airtel’s advert with a section of the public noting that the company was quick to take advantage of the situation.
