Ahmednasir’s Reaction to Uhuru’s Call for Lifestyle Audit On Ruto and Himself

Prominent Lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi on Friday supported President Uhuru Kenyatta’s call for lifestyle audit starting with himself and his deputy William Ruto.

In a series of tweets,the Senior lawyer further stated that the ‘original Uhuru is back’ and although he has his flaws, Kenyans should give him full support this time.

“This is the Uhuru Kenyatta we voted for in 2013…kidogo he disappointed in his first term. We voted him back in 2017.

“Now the original Uhuru is back. Kenyans MUST support him 100%. Lifestyle audit should start today in a structured & transparent way.

He added that the same should be done to all civil servants in all professions:

On Thursday,President Uhuru declared that all government officials, his deputy and himself included, would undergo lifestyle audit as part of the renewed fight against graft.

“We will conduct a lifestyle audit for all public servants beginning with myself as a step towards fighting corruption,” President Kenyatta stated.

Speaking in Mombasa during his launch of Dongo Kundu bypass, Mr Kenyatta reiterated his commitment to seeing runaway corruption is eradicated in the country.
