Uhuru Kenyatta’s legal counsel Ahmednassir Abudullahi says Supreme Court made a ‘political’ judgment instead of examining evidence tabled by NASA lawyers, led by Senator James Orengo.
In a landmark ruling, four judges voted for the nullification of President Uhuru Kenyatta’s victory on ground that the whole election process was marred with massive electoral malpractices and that the IEBC failed to conduct the elections in accordance with the constitution and the law.

In his immediate response to the ruling, Grand Mullah accused the SCok judges of failing to take into consideration submissions given by the 1st and 2nd respondents.
“This is purely a political decision that is absolutely devoid of a legal reasoning but we respect the court ruling. Our client won by a 1.4 million margin and we are confident that the will of the people will be expressed again.” said Ahmednassir during an interview with KTN News (Video below) immediately after the ruling.
He added,”there is no way you can dispute this election since the results are declared at the polling station.”
During his Supreme Court submissions, Ahmednassir dismissed NASA’s petition terming it a “science fiction” based on unsubstantiated claims.
