Two judges willing to administer Raila’s Oath

The offence, according to Attorney General Githu Muigai, is punishable by death.

although the State is keen on preventing another bloody street showdown with its security officers, NASA’s committee charged with organizing the controversial ceremony has remained silent.

The swearing-in of the former Prime Minister as the ‘People’s President’ at the People’s Assembly is due on Tuesday.

Impeccable source close to Raila and privy to The Star Newspaper has confided that the committee has decided on a tentative venue and have already identified two judges willing to administer the oath.

It’s also said a Presidential flag that Mr Odinga will fly once he is sworn-in has also been prepared.

The organizing committee has also made security arrangements in case the government tries to apprehend members of the committee before or on Tuesday.

A team of prominent lawyers are on standby to represent whoever is arrested and arraigned over the matter.

On Wednesday NASA wrote to 11 governors requesting for a venue to be used for the swearing-in.

It’s not however clear whether sending many letters is a strategy to confuse the State on the venue.
