National Super Alliance(NASA) leader Raila Odinga on Tuesday shook the world after taking the controversial oath of office as the People’s President of the Republic of Kenya.
Although the fete’s organizing committee had hinted at an elaborate event with various international leaders, the reality was a little different after Odinga’s deputy and fellow principals absconded the event.

Despite the hitch, Mr odinga has since received congratulatory messages from two African leaders of like-mind.
Ugandan Opposition Leader Kizza Besigye, who took a similar controversial oath in 2016, congratulated the NASA leader on becoming the People’s President.
Highly vocal South African politician Julius Malema, was not left behind in congratulating Odinga on his new-found status.

Malema, who is the leader of the opposition party Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), hailed the event as a demonstration of the people’s will.
“Congratulations the people’s President of Kenya @RailaOdinga, no amount of fraud will undermine the will of the people forever,” he stated.
